Who We Are
Victory Baptist Church is a growing, family-style church in Inverness, Florida. We want to inspire and encourage people on their spiritual journey. Our goal is to give everyone a warm, welcoming place to experience the love of God and grow in their faith.
We're a busy church family. There are services, Bible study, choir, youth activities every week and fellowship all year long. There are plenty of ways to get involved and invest in the lives of others.
What Matters Most to Us
Bible Teaching
Our main focus is sound doctrine and practical teaching of the Bible. We believe the Word of God is the final authority and guide for our lives. Through preaching and Bible study, we help people understand Scripture and live it out every day.
Prayer Based
Prayer is at the heart of everything we do. We pray for one another, seek God's guidance, and praise our Heavenly Father together.
Camp-Meeting Music
Our services are filled with uplifting, camp-meeting-style music. That includes traditional hymns and choruses, our choir, special music and invited group concerts. All of it is meant to help everyone freely worship and sing praises to our God.
What We Believe
We believe the Bible is the Word of God and the final authority for our faith and our lives. We believe in the power of prayer, and our desire is to help people pursue a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and experience the victory that comes through faith.
Our Pastor
Pastor Jon and his wife, Julie, have led Victory Baptist since December 2017.
